Skin tissue with subcutaneous tissue was removed from your lower arm for use on another area of your body.

The skin is made up of multiple layers. The epidermis is on the outside. The epidermis does not get any blood. Below this is the dermis. There are lots of blood vessels and nerves in the dermis. Below the dermis is the subcutaneous tissue. It contains fatty tissue and connective tissue.

The blood vessels in the removed tissue should be connected to the blood vessels of the tissue in the other area.
