Harnsteine sind Ablagerungen in den Harnwegen. Zu den Harnwegen gehören die Harnleiter, die Harnblase und die Harnröhre. Von den beiden Nieren fließt der Urin über die Harnleiter in die Harnblase. Die Harnröhre leitet den Urin aus der Harnblase nach außen ab.
