Mithilfe eines Geräts wurden schädliche Stoffe aus Ihrem Blut entfernt. Das nennt man auch Leber-Dialyse.
Normalerweise reinigt die Leber das Blut und entgiftet so den Körper. Wenn die Leber nicht ausreichend arbeitet, dann können sich bestimmte Stoffe im Körper ansammeln. Das kann auch passieren, wenn aufgrund einer Erkrankung zu viele von diesen Stoffen anfallen. Das Blut kann in diesen Fällen in einem Gerät außerhalb des Körpers gereinigt werden.
