ICD-Code F74.1: Dissociated intelligence Significant impairment of behaviour requiring attention or treatment

You have different intelligence scores across different domains of intelligence.

Intelligence involves various mental abilities. It is needed in order to be able to absorb, process and apply new knowledge. Intelligence includes, for example, the ability to solve problems, understand connections and adapt to new situations. Intelligence can be assessed using certain tests. These tests are also called intelligence tests or IQ tests. The result of such tests is normally given as a numerical value, which is known as the IQ. An IQ of between 85 and 115 indicates average intelligence.

Some IQ tests examine different domains of intelligence, such as language abilities and logical thinking. Some people may have a lower IQ in one domain compared with the rest.

Your behavior is noticeably different as a result of your intellectual limitations. Targeted support may be required as a result.
