Die Hals-Wirbelsäule und die Lenden-Wirbelsäule krümmen sich nach vorn. Die Brust-Wirbelsäule und das Kreuzbein krümmen sich nach hinten.
Die Wirbelsäule kann in einem oder in mehreren Abschnitten zu stark nach vorne gekrümmt sein. Wenn die Wirbelsäule zu stark gekrümmt ist, dann kann man Rückenschmerzen haben.
