ICD-Code O22.4: Hämorrhoiden in der Schwangerschaft

Venen sind Blutgefäße, die das Blut zurück zum Herzen befördern.
Während einer Schwangerschaft können Hormone dafür sorgen, dass die Venen dehnbarer sind. Dadurch fließt das Blut durch die Venen langsamer als normalerweise. Durch einen verlangsamten Blutfluss kann sich das Blut in den Venen stauen.
Erweiterte Venen rund um den After nennt man Hämorrhoiden. Diese erweiterten Venen können als weiche Knoten am After sichtbar werden. Dabei können Beschwerden wie beispielsweise Juckreiz und Brennen kurz nach dem Stuhlgang auftreten.
