Während der Geburt ist eine Verletzung oder eine Blutung im kindlichen Kopf entstanden.
Wenn es Schwierigkeiten bei der Geburt gibt, ist manchmal der Einsatz einer Geburtszange oder Saugglocke notwendig. Dadurch können Blutungen und Verletzungen im Kopf des Kindes entstehen. Wenn das Kind aus einer ungewöhnlichen Lage im Mutterleib geboren wird, können ebenfalls Blutungen entstehen. Es kann aber auch bei einem Kaiserschnitt oder einer normalen Geburt zu Blutungen am Gehirn kommen.
