Die Halswirbelsäule besteht aus den 7 Halswirbeln. Diese Halswirbel sind durch verschiedene Bänder und Gelenke miteinander verbunden. Sie haben sich diese Bänder überdehnt. Es kann auch sein, dass ein Gelenk überlastet ist.
Das passiert zum Beispiel bei starken, ruckartigen Bewegungen, wie bei einem Autounfall. Man kann dadurch zum Beispiel Nackenschmerzen haben oder auch Kopfschmerzen bekommen.
