Ein Medikament kann zum Beispiel eine Vergiftung verursachen, wenn zu viel davon verabreicht wurde. Es kann auch sein, dass das Medikament versehentlich oder falsch verabreicht wurde.
Eine Vergiftung mit einem Medikament zur örtlichen Betäubung kann sich zum Beispiel auf das Herz auswirken. Das Herz kann dann unregelmäßig, zu schnell oder zu langsam schlagen. Man kann Krampfanfälle bekommen. Es kann auch sein, dass man schläfrig wird oder das Bewusstsein verliert.
