One or more joints between your finger bones have been surgically realigned and stabilized using devices.
The hand is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. The hand can be divided into 3 sections. The wrist (carpus) is directly connected to the forearm. Then comes the metacarpus and then the individual fingers.The thumb consists of 2 finger bones. The other fingers consist of 3 finger bones.The individual phalanges of the hand are connected to each other via a joint.
The bones of the affected joints between the phalanges of your hand were first returned to their correct position. The joints between your finger bones were then stabilized using special staples.
The staples are being used to press parts of the affected joint together.
