B18.14: Chronic viral hepatitis B without delta-agent, phase 4

A long time ago you were infected by viruses that can cause an inflamed liver. Your liver has been inflamed for a considerable time.

The liver is an important organ on the top right of the abdomen. For example, it helps with blood clotting and detoxifying the body. Nutrients from food are processed in the liver.

You have been infected with hepatitis B. As a result, your liver has become inflamed. So this liver inflammation is also called hepatitis B.

If the liver is inflamed over a long period of time, this can cause various symptoms. You may feel feeble and tired. You may lose your appetite. Your joints may be painful. Sometimes you can also have diarrhea. Your skin and eyes may turn yellow from time to time. It is also possible to have other symptoms. Sometimes there may be no symptoms at all.

The viruses are multiplying rapidly in your body. So you can easily pass the viruses on to other people.
