Your skin has been changed by fungi.
Many different germs, mainly bacteria, are found on normal skin. There is normally a certain balance between them. Many of these germs are also beneficial for the skin.
Certain fungi have spread on your skin where it is hairy. You often see tiny dark nodules on the hairs. The hairs are then usually brittle.
