B40.78: Other disseminated blastomycosis
You have blastomycosis.
Blastomycosis is caused by fungi. They occur in the soil in North America, Africa and India. Fungi produce resistant spores in order to propagate. Drafts can spread the spores around the environment. You can become ill through inhaling the fungal spores with the dust. First of all you can get a fever, coughing and muscle pain.
The fungi have spread through your body in your bloodstream. In that case, you may be seriously ill. Your bones and cerebral membranes can get inflamed. If the cerebral membranes get inflamed you can get headaches and become sensitive to light.
