B66.1: Clonorchiasis

You have been diagnosed as having liver flukes.

Liver flukes are parasites that occur in Asia and Europe. Parasites are small creatures that, at least for periods of time, live off other creatures. In humans they can cause illnesses. Liver flukes can infect fresh water fish. You can become infected by eating fish that has not been properly cooked.

You may feel tired and weak. You may also have stomach pain and diarrhea. It is also possible that you have no symptoms at all.
