Your brain has been damaged by a viral condition.
The brain is located inside the head. It receives, processes and stores sensory impressions. The brain controls movements and various physical functions. A viral condition can cause a wide range of symptoms. The symptoms may also persist over the long term. Some of the body's functions may become restricted as a result.
For example, the skin in certain areas may tingle or feel numb. The muscles may become weaker. You can have problems with speaking or swallowing. You may find it hard to concentrate, and be unable to notice things properly.
A viral condition in the brain may also cause severe impairment of the body's functions.
