E56.0: Deficiency of vitamin E

You have been found to have a vitamin E deficiency.

Vitamins are substances the body needs for many tasks. The body is unable produce most vitamins by itself. These vitamins must be taken in through food.

If you have insufficient vitamin E in your body, you may feel weak and be tired. You may also have poorer concentration and be easily irritated. Wounds may take longer to heal. Vitamin E is available in plant oils, nuts, eggs, rolled oats, liver, milk, green vegetables and salad.
