The messenger substances (hormones) or metabolism in your body have changed after an examination or treatment.
The body produces energy from food. Furthermore, the body makes construction material from food, for instance to repair or construct tissue. This is also called metabolism. The metabolism is influenced by various messenger substances.
The messenger substances regulate the digestion and blood sugar, for example. Messenger substances moreover regulate the heartbeat, body temperature, fatigue, hunger and the desire for sex. There is normally a balance of various messenger substances in the body.
In your case, the messenger substances or metabolism have changed after an examination or treatment. You may have symptoms or notice changes in your body as a result. Altered messenger substances or a changed metabolism can also occur without any symptoms.
