You have become intoxicated through cannabis.

Cannabis is a hemp plant. The main active ingredient in cannabis is THC. Cannabis also contains the substance CBD. The drugs marijuana and hashish are parts of the hemp plant.

You are intoxicated because you have consumed cannabis. Intoxication can alter things like your consciousness, perception, mood and behavior. This can lead you to be reckless or overly confident, for example. Sometimes you see things that are not really there. Your heart may also be racing or you may be very hungry.
