You have various recurring physical symptoms. There are no physical causes that properly explain your symptoms. Symptoms may also be caused by mental issues. Nonetheless, the person may be convinced that there is a purely physical cause for their symptoms. The person is then often extremely preoccupied by their symptoms.

Your symptoms involve your oesophagus, stomach or the first section of your small intestine. You may then have abdominal pain or heartburn, for example.
