Your nerves have been damaged by another disorder. It is possible that it is a disease where metabolic processes are disturbed. Certain substances may also build up in the body or the quantity of hormones may have changed.

Nerves transmit information in the body. The information is processed in the brain.

When the nerves are damaged, there can be a variety of failure symptoms. You may then no longer be able to feel contact and pain properly, for example. They may no longer be able to move certain muscles properly. Some organs such as the heart or intestine may no longer work properly.
