H17.0: Adherent leukoma
Adhesions have formed in the cornea of your eye.
The cornea is located at the front of the eye. It is transparent and curved. The curvature focuses light in the eye. This is vital to be able to see clearly. The lens of the eye, which is also transparent, and the iris, the colored part of the eye, are located behind the cornea.
You have adhesions that have formed between the cornea and the surrounding tissue. Thin membranes can form between the cornea and the iris or the lens of the eye, for example. These adhesions might be scars and develop as a result of an injury or inflammation, for example.
