H18.6: Keratoconus
The cornea of your eye has changed.
The cornea is located at the front of the eye. It is transparent and curved. The curvature focuses light in the eye. This is vital to be able to see clearly.
The shape of your cornea has changed. Your cornea is bulging in the shape of a cone. This kind of bulge can become increasingly more pronounced. A change to the shape of the cornea may result in the light in the cornea no longer being broken up as normal. As a result you may find it harder to see clearly.
