Your cornea is inflamed.
The cornea is located at the front of the eye. It is transparent and curved. The curvature focuses light in the eye. This is vital to be able to see clearly.
You have an inflammation of the cornea. The inflammation has been caused by another disorder. This disorder is usually caused by pathogens.
When the cornea is inflamed the eye is usually sore. And one’s vision may be worse than usual. Sometimes bright light may feel uncomfortable.
The inflammation of the cornea can also irritate the conjunctiva. When the conjunctiva is irritated, it can be red and swollen.
