H19.8: Other disorders of sclera and cornea in diseases classified elsewhere
Your sclera or your cornea has changed.
The sclera is the firm, white skin in the eye. The sclera stabilizes the eye. The cornea is located at the front of the eye. It is transparent and curved. The curvature focuses light in the eye. This is vital to be able to see clearly.
If the sclera or cornea change, one may have various symptoms. One’s vision may be worse than usual. One may also have a sore eye.
