H43.0: Vitreous prolapse
The vitreous body in your eye has moved.
The vitreous body of the eye consists of a transparent, gel-like fluid. It is surrounded by a thin membrane and fills the entire rear area of the eye. This is how it gives the eye its shape.
You had an accident or an operation on your eye. As a result your vitreous body, or parts of it, have moved.
When the vitreous body moves, one’s vision may be worse than usual.
