The vitreous body is surrounded by the vitreous membrane. The vitreous membrane fulfills different functions. It protects the eye, supplies the eye with nutrients and is important for seeing, for example.
Your eyeball has changed. This kind of change to the eyeball can develop as a result of a foreign body in the eye, for example. This kind of change to the eyeball may result in a person not being able to see as well as they used to or going blind.
