H51.1: Convergence insufficiency and excess
You cannot move one or both eyes properly.
The brain controls eye movement. It is responsible for moving both eyes at the same time and in the same direction. This is vital for our vision. Damage to certain parts of the brain can lead to problems with eye movement.
When you want to see an object nearby, the eyes unconsciously point more inwards towards the nose. In your case, this unconscious eye movement towards the nose is altered. The movement may be stronger or weaker than normal.
