H57.9: Disorder of eye and adnexa, unspecified

You have a disorder of, or a change to, your eye.

Above and below the eye are the eyelids with eyelashes. The colored iris is located in the center of the eye. There is a black opening in the center of the iris. This is the pupil. In front of the pupil is the cornea. Behind the pupil inside the eye are the lens and the vitreous body.

Sometimes there are no symptoms when there are changes to the eye. However, the eye may be itchy or one’s vision may be worse.
