J30.0: Vasomotor rhinitis
You have a cold.
The inside of the nose is covered with mucous membrane. The mucous membrane swells up during a cold. The mucous membrane then produces more fluid. As a result, the nose runs. Furthermore, it can be more difficult to breathe through the nose and to smell.
The mucous membrane in your nose is swelling up due to particular triggers. Possible triggers are cold air, smoke, dust or alcohol.
