K04.3: Abnormal hard tissue formation in pulp

Tooth material has formed inside your tooth.

The majority of the tooth’s structure is bony material.

Every tooth has a hollow interior. Connective tissue such as nerves and blood vessels is found inside a tooth. Through its interior, a tooth is formed and sustained.

The connective tissue inside the tooth forms tooth material if the tooth is for instance damaged by pathogens. The tooth thus attempts to repair itself.

If tooth material is formed inside the tooth, the cavity on the inside can become smaller.
