K63.4: Enteroptosis

Your intestines are lower in your abdomen than normal.

The connective tissue usually keeps the abdominal organs in their place. If the connective tissue is less firm, the intestines can then be lower in the abdomen than normal. That can occur for instance at an older age. If the intestines are lower down, you may have constipation. You may quickly feel feeble. The abdomen may also feel heavy. Back pain is possible, especially where the spinal column meets the pelvis. It is also possible that you have no symptoms at all.
