The liver is an important organ on the top right of the abdomen. For example, it helps with blood clotting and detoxifying the body. Nutrients from food are processed in the liver.
The liver can be damaged for many reasons and thus become inflamed. For example, these can be harmful substances or other diseases.
If the liver is inflamed, this can cause various symptoms.
You may feel tired and feeble as a result of the inflamed liver, for example. You may also feel nauseated and have yellow skin.
