K74.71: Cirrhosis of liver, Child-Pugh score B
Your liver was damaged and has thus changed.
The liver is an important organ on the top right of the abdomen. For example, it helps with blood clotting and detoxifying the body. Nutrients from food are processed in the liver.
Your liver can only perform its various tasks in a limited manner.
There are many reasons for a damaged liver. These include for instance toxic substances or other diseases.
Damage to the liver can often make you feel weak, tired and have a low appetite. But it may also be that you have no problems at all. Over time, the abdominal girth can increase considerably and the abdomen may be painful. The skin may appear yellow. You may also bleed more intensely and for longer if you injure yourself.
