Your liver has become inflamed.

The liver is an important organ on the top right of the abdomen. For example, it helps with blood clotting and detoxifying the body. Nutrients from food are processed in the liver.

The liver may become inflamed for various reasons. The liver may become inflamed as a result of another inflammation in the body.

If your liver is inflamed, you may have abdominal pain or a high temperature. Sometimes you may also have a feeling of pressure in your abdomen.
