K91.4: Colostomy and enterostomy malfunction

You are having problems with your artificial anus.

You had surgery on your intestines and received an artificial anus. What is more, your feces is conducted out into a bag via an opening in the abdomen.

Various problems can occur with a stoma. For example, the stoma may become constricted, obstructed or inflamed. You may have pain in your abdomen, for instance. It is also possible that feces is accumulating in your intestines. The intestines may then be damaged.
