There is a purulent inflammation of the fatty tissue and connective tissue beneath the skin of your trunk.
There is widespread inflammation of the fatty tissue and connective tissue beneath your skin. The inflammation has caused pus to form. This purulent inflammation can occur due to a cut or an animal bite, for example. Pathogens enter the wound and cause inflammation. Rarely, the inflammation may go deeper, for example, in the case of bone inflammation.
A reddish, pasty swelling forms at the inflamed site, which is very painful. The skin is usually shiny and feels hot to the touch. The wound often leaks pus. The inflammation can be so severe that you will feel very exhausted and have a high temperature.
