Blisters have formed on your skin.
Your immune system is attacking certain parts of your skin. As a result, your skin has become inflamed and damaged.
The skin is then usually red, and broken in some places. Typically, blisters also form on the skin. The skin is sometimes itchy. Head, upper body and groins are most often affected.
In your case, the disorder began when you were a child.
The skin may have been damaged for a long time before blisters form.
