L55.0: Sunburn of first degree
You have got sunburn. This is why your skin is red.
Your skin has been damaged by the sun. Your skin has become inflamed as result. Your skin is red and swollen. The areas of red skin are usually very sensitive to pressure, and they are often sore. The skin is sometimes itchy and burning, too.
People with pale skin are more susceptible to sunburn. The more time you spend in the sun, the more the skin gets damaged. Any sunburn can cause lasting damage to the skin. When spending time in the sun, suncream should be used to protect the skin.
