Hair loss often occurs in old age. The sex hormones in the body change. This also affects the hair on the head. Your hair is getting thinner and falling out more quickly.

In your case, though, the hair loss has been caused by certain medications. They may be medications that affect the sex hormones. Hair loss can also be caused by many other medications. For example, medications taken for deposits in the blood vessels, or for pain.
