Your skin has changed in certain places due to self-inflicted wounds.
You may have scratched yourself, for example, or pulled at your skin. Wounds also sometimes occur when washing yourself very vigorously. The skin of the face, chest or lower legs is often affected.
On medical documents, the ICD code is often appended by letters that indicate the diagnostic certainty or the affected side of the body.
