M14.23: Diabetic arthropathy Forearm
The diabetes has caused a joint disorder in your wrist.
The wrist joins the hand to the forearm. There are 2 bones in the forearm. These bones are called the ulna and the radius. As well as the actual wrist there is also a joint between the ends of the ulna and the radius.
With diabetes, the blood sugar level is too high over a long period of time. This can have a number of consequences. You have developed joint damage as a result of the diabetes. With this disorder, over time the bone in the joint becomes increasingly damaged.
