You have a disorder with which nodules form in the skin and joints become inflamed.
As a result of the disorder you have inflammation in some of your joints.
An inflammation in the joints can cause various symptoms. Typical is a swollen, painful joint. The skin above the joint may also be red. It may also no longer be possible to move the joint as usual. An inflammation in the joints can damage or destroy the joints.
Exactly how this disorder occurs is not known.
