M60.16: Interstitial myositis Lower leg
You have a muscle inflammation in your lower leg or knee.
You have a muscle inflammation that involves inflammation in the areas between the individual muscle fibers. Muscle inflammations like these can be caused by various other disorders in the body.
When you move inflamed muscles, or press on them, it can be painful. Inflamed muscles can also harden. It may become impossible to move the inflamed muscles properly. If the muscles remain inflamed for a long time, they may also get weaker or cramp up.
