M66.50: Spontaneous rupture of unspecified tendon Multiple sites

You have a torn tendon in some parts of your body.

Tendons are made up of very firm connective tissue. Tendons attach muscles to bones.

Your tendons have torn while making normal movements and without any major force being exerted. Tendons can tear fully or partially. This can occur when tendons are already damaged so that they are not as firm as usual.

When tendons tear it can be painful. The affected area can swell up. It may also no longer be possible to move the affected part of the body as well as normal.
