M77.2: Periarthritis of wrist

You have inflammation or a tendon disorder in your wrist area.

A tendon disorder may also involve damage to tendon sheaths. Tendons are made up of very firm connective tissue. Tendons attach muscles to bones. A tendon sheath is a covering for the tendon. It cushions the tendon and contains a small amount of fluid. This reduces friction between the tendon and its surroundings.

If you have inflammation or a tendon disorder in your wrist, it might be painful. You may be unable to move your wrist so well.
