M84.36: Stress fracture, not elsewhere classified Lower leg

One or more bones in your lower leg have broken due to overloading.

When bones keep being put under great strain in the same way, small fractures can form in the bone. This is also known as a fatigue fracture. These types of breaks can occur in the legs, for example, if you do a lot of dancing, running or marching.

A fatigue fracture may be painful. The skin over the affected bone may be red and swollen.
