Bone tissue in your head, neck or upper body has been damaged by fluoride.
If someone consumes too much fluoride over a long period of time, the bone tissue can change. The bone tissue can become unusually elastic and, as a result, more fragile. Bony spurs can also form on the bones. If the changes affect the spine, over time it can stiffen up. The spine then becomes less mobile.
