M99.81: Other biomechanical lesions Cervical region
As a result of a disorder in your movement system, you are having problems with your neck.
The musculoskeletal system includes the muscles, bones and joints, among other things. The individual bones are connected to each other via joints. The muscles are attached to the bones via tendons. The individual tendons are surrounded by tendon sheaths comprising connective tissue.
If the movement system has a disorder, nerves, muscles or joints may not function properly or there may be a malfunction in the way they work together. Joints may be less mobile or muscles can tense up, for example. You may also have pain.
