Your kidney function has got much worse over a short period of time.
There are normally 2 kidneys in the body. They filter blood and create urine. They thus help to detoxify the body. Furthermore, the kidneys regulate the blood pressure and salt content in the blood, among other things.
When the kidneys stop working properly they can only carry out their tasks to a limited degree. As a result, you may only pass a small amount of urine or even none at all. The salt content and acid content in your blood may also change.
There are many reasons why the kidney function deteriorates quickly. For example, the kidneys may be damaged by toxins or medication. Another possible cause is that not enough blood is getting to the kidneys. The kidneys’ blood supply can be impaired if the kidney blood vessels are closed by a blood clot or if the blood pressure in the body is too low. The kidneys’ blood supply can also be impaired if there is too little fluid in the body.
