Your penis was stiff for several hours.
The erectile tissue of the penis ensures that the penis can become erect when it is stimulated. When this happens the erectile tissue of the penis becomes engorged with blood. You have had an erection for several hours without any stimulation. If the blood is no longer able to drain out of the erectile tissue of the penis, the penis cannot become flaccid. If this happens, the penis usually feels very tight and hurts.
There are many different reasons why an erection continues for several hours. It may be caused by medication, drugs or a number of diseases, for example. It is also possible that no cause is found.
